Our structured curriculum is designed to meet you where you’re at through a combination of watching, reading, and hands-on learning. We teach more hands-on skills, expose you to a variety of modern dental technologies, and train you in a real dental practice with seasoned dental assistants to become a qualified and experienced dental assistant.

Get practical experience in a real dental practice, with real students, using real equipment with real patient situations.
Our students learn to take digital radiographs on state-of-the-art x-ray machines as well as with traditional film. Every OceanPointe campus across the country has all the latest modern technology to train students to take excellent intraoral and extraoral radiographs.
Every one of our students will assist a licensed dentist one-on-one in various dental procedures on real patients – not just on manikins. Clinical practice is performed on other students and real patients to enhance the learning experience – all under the watchful eyes of our instructors.
Your tuition includes textbooks, clinical attire, lab manual, hands-on training, clinical rotations with real patients, and all supplies and materials needed for class.
We hire the most qualified and experienced instructors in town. All of our instructors are either distinguished dental assistants or dental professionals.
We offer multiple locations and times, including Saturdays. Students will complete reading assignments and online quizzes during the week. This allows flexibility for our students to continue working while being prepared for their next career.
Our learning model allows us to keep the cost of education extremely low. We offer several payment plans that do not require a credit check.

Students are placed in a 40-hour per week clinical rotation for a final applied clinical experience with chair-side assisting in 4-handed dentistry, radiographic techniques, and assisting during specialty procedures.
